Neil Schroeder is the proud sponsor of a number of charitable organisations which are listed below. Giving back to our community and others less fortunate is something that is very important to our company and part of what we stand for.
“ORA New Zealand is a child focused interdenominational Christian relief and developmental organisation serving people in need and seeking justice for the vulnerable. In Uganda, the Luku Yesiuni Project works in communities where poverty and HIV/AIDS have eroded hope and left a large number of orphans. Unfortunately, these children often disappear and are taken as slaves, or worse, sold for body parts.”
We are proud sponsors of four of these at risk children along with investments in income-generating projects like the recently established coffee plantation.
This is another organisation based on similar principals to ORA. “We actively support and sponsor one child through Tear Fund Uganda. When my daughter was seven she was given a child the same age…now she is 14 we went together to meet Freda in Kisoro (South Uganda). I had already visited the Tear Fund Project in 2008 and was the first ‘outsider’ to spend time there. It changed my life and I hope it encourages others to make an impact in overcoming poverty overseas, one life at a time.”
The WiseMoney Financial Systems were developed by Phil Strong for the purpose of educating people with wise financial principles. WiseMoney is committed to delivering solutions that see people of all ages to help them take control of their finances. “Money is the biggest worry for a majority of Kiwi families” Phil says. “Sitting back and doing nothing about it just isn’t an option”. Phil believes that money can be a tool that, when used wisely, can help people achieve the things that are important to them.
I regularly donate to the Fostering Kids charity. To help with the care of these children and support the remarkable people that dedicate their lives to helping to care for these children.
